Lagging and freezing during video conferences usually indicates a problem with your internet connection
1. Get an internet cable and plug it into your network.
- Do not use Wi-Fi.
- If you are in a judicial facility and don’t have a network cable or docking station or do not know where the closest network jack is, contact the Help Desk.
- If you are not in a judicial facility, use an internet cable to plug into your network. If you can’t use a wired connection, move closer to your router.
- If you are not in a judicial facility, check your internet speeds. We recommend 1Mbps download and 800Kbps upload speeds. You can check your current speed with a quick internet speed test. If your speeds are inadequate, contact your internet provider to upgrade your speed.
2. Close all unneeded applications.
3. Restart your computer.
4. If you have a desktop client installed on your computer, uninstall it and reinstall the latest version.
