If you cannot find your citation or ticket
- Your citation may not yet be added to Iowa Courts Online—it can take up to 14 days.
- Your parking ticket could be from a city, not a county. Only tickets filed with the county clerk of court are available on Iowa Courts Online.
- Your name could be spelled incorrectly on the court record. Try typing only the first few letters of your first and last names.
- If you have changed your name, your citation may have matched to your previous last name, based on your birth date and driver’s license/social security number. Try searching under a previous name.
- You could be entering the case number wrong.
- It should have 17 characters.
- The number 0 and the letter O are not interchangeable.
