- Public docket information available at no charge includes basic case information such as case titles and filings, names of parties and lawyers, criminal charges, case disposition entries, child support payments, fines and fees owed, and fines and fee payments.
- Juvenile and other confidential case information are not available.
- All public trial cases after 1998 are available. Some earlier cases may be available electronically. Information on cases filed before 1998 can be obtained through the clerk of court in the county where it was filed.
- All Iowa appellate court cases filed after June 1998 are available, except juvenile and other confidential cases. Information on cases filed before June 1998 can be obtained through the appellate court clerk's office.
- Case schedules, judgment index, lien index, exhibit lists, bonds, and service return information are available with a paid subscription.
Documents
- Appellate case electronic documents can be viewed at a public access terminal at the courthouse, in the county where the appeal was filed.
- Trial case electronic documents may be viewed for that county at the public access terminal at the courthouse.
